Emotions: energy in motion ✨

Have you ever noticed how emotions ripple through your body?
Excitement makes your chest expand.
Sadness softens your shoulders.
Fear sends a quick current through your belly.
That’s because emotions are not abstract clouds floating in your mind. Real, physiological waves moving through your body. They are energy in motion.
When the energy is stagnant it might be the source of many ailments. Tummy aches, inflammation, skin rach, lethargy, joint pain and so much more…
But 🍑 when we allow these waves to flow, they can bring clarity, release, and even joy.

The Science of Emotions as Energy
Modern research is beginning to map what many ancient practices have always known that our energetic currents live inside the body: our emotions.
A fascinating study by Nummenmaa et al. (2014) created “body maps” showing where different emotions are felt. Happiness lights up the chest and face, anger burns in the arms, sadness sinks into the heart and limbs.¹
In other words: your emotions have geography. They move, they travel, they speak through sensation.
When you think of your emotions as energy in motion, it becomes easier to imagine them as waves passing, shifting, transformable. Instead of being “stuck” in an emotion, you’re simply experiencing energy that wants to flow.

In our group sessions, we create a safe, gentle yet powerful space where your body can finally: exhale.
Through breath, sound, touch, and somatic movement, we invite those energies, those unspoken stories stored in muscles and fascia, to be acknowledged, expressed, and released.

Imagine it like tuning an instrument: when your strings are tight or muted, the music feels heavy. But when you allow tension to soften, your body becomes resonant again, alive with flow and vitality.
This is not about “fixing” you. You are not broken.
This is about meeting yourself fully, and letting your natural energy in motion do the work.

A lightness in your chest as breath deepens.
A gentle trembling as your body lets go of old holding patterns.
Warmth, tingles, or subtle waves of release.
Tears, laughter, or a quiet stillness.
Each response is your body’s way of moving energy. None of it is “wrong.” In fact, it’s your system doing what it knows best, restoring balance.
