About Emotional Awareness

What is emotional awareness?
When we speak of emotional awareness we speak of consciousness, of being informed in a holistic way about our emotions. This is related to the famous concept: emotional intelligence.
In terms of emotional intelligence, we mean the ability to recognize, understand, and manage our emotions (and as a result of high mastery we can do the same with the emotions of others as well).
There are many points we can mention regarding the benefits of cultivating this inner watcher. These, but are not limited to, include:
- Stress management
- Strengthen relationships
- Effective communication
- Boost your social intelligence
Ultimately, positively influences our relationship with ourselves. Helping us heal, helping us find the way back to our essence, to our core.
But how can we cultivate that inner observer? The simple answer: Mindfulness.
Mindfulness or mindfulness is the intentional use of our attention.
