We first have a call (free of cost) where I explain the methodology and how to prepare for the sessions / program / service of your choice. This is also an opportunity for my clients to see if they feel comfortable with me. Then after the client has confirmed that wants to start working together and making the first payment I send them a welcome pack with some tips on how to prepare for our session together. For more information on the different services please go to each individual section.
Depending on the service the process might vary. Depending on your goal the change might take longer or shorter to be noticed. Regardless of our goals I like to remind everyone that life is a journey with only one true destination. All in between is a journey. A journey of growth, full of change and opportunities for expansion. Sometimes we fell for the illusion that āthereās one end of the lineā, sure there are new chapters, new adventures, the key sometimes is to remember that life is a big journey. Enjoy the ride.
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Developed by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in 1972. It studies human experiences, communication, thinking, language and behaviour. Combining the META Model and Milton Model.
ā
NLP gives us tools to master our own mind by noticing conscious and unconscious behavioural patterns. Using the power of language, NLP can influence thought processes, allowing us to reprogram negative patterns by duplicating excellence and modelling how we communicate with others and ourselves. It teaches us that there is always more than one way to do things.

For me NLP is also a way of living mindfully and full of compassion for others and ourselves.
here are a lot of other professionals and approaches out there that are not pure coaching and that are really helpful to people. For example: A counsellor will work with people experiencing significant levels of distress. A mentor works with people looking for direction. Consultants work with people that want to be diagnosed and presented with solutions. Coaches work around peoples desires to move forward in their lives.
In order to make it a little clearer lets imagine a client that wants to learn how to drive a bicycleā¦
In a mentoring session: the mentor will share their personal experiences of driving a bicycle and offering tips based on their past experience with the client.
In a counselling session: the counsellor will listen to the concerns and anxieties of the client about driving a bicycle, maybe tap into their childhood and unlock uncomfortable experiences in the past, allow the client to talk about that past and resolve some issues from that past experiences.
In a consulting session: a consultant will give the client a clear and logical plan about how best to learn and drive. Perhaps even give the client a manual or two and show every single step.
In a coaching session: the coach will encourage and support the client as they decide how and when to approach their next baby step. A coach might start by asking the client āwhat do you want?ā āWhen do you want it?ā āHow would you know what you go "it"?ā āWhere are you right now in relation to that?ā āWhat is the next key baby step to get to where you want to beā⦠and by the end of the session the client will create an action plan.

Hiring a coach is a personal decision and all of us will make a decision based on different points. I will share with you some key things that helped me in the past figure out if it was time for me to work with a coach / wellbeing / holistic professional: ⢠Feeling stuck in a routine
⢠Talking to friends/family/colleagues is not helping my situation
⢠I feel like I need a change but also feel unsure of what that change exactly isā¦
First of all, there is no consensus on whether to avoid inversions during a womanās menstrual cycle. The two opinions are basically divided between those who think that no women should practice inversions during menstruation and those who feel the choice varies from woman to woman.
The "Yoga Journal" says in an article:
Those who encourage a ban on inversions cite fears that certain physical problems may arise. Until recently, increased risk of endometriosis was considered the most common risk. But since more is known now about that disease, the idea has been debunked. There is also a theory that inversions may cause āvascular congestionā in the uterus resulting in excessive menstrual flow. If true, this risk is probably most relevant for women who hold inversions a long time. Some teachers say that since a womanās energy is low during menstruation, high-energy poses such as inversions should be avoided. This makes sense, yet not all women experience low energy during menstruation; indeed, many feel quite energized.Philosophically speaking, menstruation is considered to be apana, meaning that energetically, its vitality is downward-flowing. The argument against inversions during menstruation maintains that inversions will disturb this natural energetic flow. However, inversions are recommended in some systems of yoga as therapy to improve elimination of excess apana. In Yoga: The Path to Holistic Health, B.K.S. Iyengar recommends practicing inversions to alleviate menstrual problems such as heavy flow and irregular periods. But...
The reality is that there are no studies that back up any of this and for now science says that inversions are actually totally fine during your period. But it is your choice. Speaking from a personal experience, during some of my "moons" I have felt less eager to practice inversions but other times I've felt perfectly fine. It's your choice, listen to your body and move how it feels good. namaste!
Self-Belief is a measure of faith in oneās own abilities; Self-Esteem is about our sense of self. It involves both thoughts and emotions and influences how we perceive others and interact with the world. Some people describe self-belief as that voice that says, āI can be and do anything I want to be and doā, self-esteem is that voice that says, āThis is who I am, and Iām ok with that.ā
